Problems with firmware Sony Xperia E4

I bought this smartphone a few days ago. First impression - not bad enough. But these days I noticed problems with using a smartphone
- creaking back of the left hand
- the inability to select the memory card as the default memory
-poor image quality after taking photo (like software problem)
-the program does not have permission to write to the memory card
-yellow tint display.
I hope that Sony will fix software issues in the next update.

Hi!

Battery Cover squeaks in compression, just in the middle left side, opposite the power button.

After pressing the button to take a photo, the camera focuses and the future looks good picture focused, but through instant photo looks like a light fog.

On the software limitations in permits Android 4 - I know what it is, but in other smart phones and base MTK is possible to set the memory card as the main storage space. In this version of the software is no such possibility. You can only transfer photos, music, video files and some program, with cash transfer programs is not possible! For example: Real Racing 3 - when transferring the cache memory to the card, game can not see it again and loads into memory smartphone. Behold, the problem with PlayBooks - the cache after transfer again loaded in memory smartphone.

As for white balance - balance adjustment does not help much, in my opinion the factory calibration is not good.

1. you might want to check this at the store, it shouldn't squeak

2. the camera button (physical camera button) its a 3 step button, press it half way to focus then press it all the way to snap the picture. Does your phone has a protective case or film? are the pictures that look like fog are taken with flash?

3. you should contact Google/Android on this issue/limitation.

4. could you take screenshots (full brightness) of the screen while you are trying to adjust the white balance, before and after?

what would be good to improve the next update in . -low volume -bluetooth In case you do not see the speaker volume bar icon .

It doesn't recognise either keyboard or mouse through USB! The camera part needs improving . It takes noisy blunt picture. Awefull pictures when the light is on- yellow flacks on white objects , blurry picture.

Within 5 days of purchase of e4 abruptly switched off and was dead soon. Notified the problem with dealer they sent to Sony service centre . After 2 days the phone was OK. Reason they told was the software failure, we digested the opinion as phone was working perfectly. Again using after 3 days the same situation has arises. I am really disappointed with this phone. I have asked the dealer to either replace this faulty piece or refund the money.

I just received the same version update from Sony but only can update through PC...its 24.0.B.3.8...i've notice that my phone is less lag...from malaysia here...anybody else receive the same update as me?

Hi! How much RAM in you E4? My smartphone shows only 805 MB! Why not 1024?

Hello! Sorry, but I understand that the memory can be reserved by modules and boot, but all programs indicate that the smartphone is only 805 MB of RAM!

This has been asked far too many times, for years already, there's RAM that it's only accessible by Android, that's why you can't see it with other apps.

I can't copy,move or paste with my Xperia E4, everytime I try to copy or paste it always tells me that"currently android 4.4 kitkat don't allow to make changes on external memory,so anybody can u please help me out?

I have the same problem do not stay connected for wifi, you connect but after a while is disconnected and you can not connect later, restart for the wifi working again and more often happens when I'm in applications requiring more data transfer (youtube, android firefox browser, etc ...) but whatsapp, facebook, google search, google drive (upload and download large files) works well, a specific problem is that the youtube app, could only watch the videos to 360p after restarting the app, I saw videos to 480p but on the internal memory files are created temporary videos I'm seeing, these files are not deleted and are occupying the available memory, it is annoying to have to delete them manually after restarting the phone because this this non already connected to modem and can not connect again. PLEASE SONY FIX THE PROBLEMS sorry for my bad english is not my native language.

That's an android restriction but if you use the File Commander you should be able to do a lot more

Hi all,

I has just purchased Sony Xperia E4 Dual at Viet Nam.

At the first look, I am impressive about this smart phone.

But after using 4 days. I found it had trouble with charged time.

It take approximately 4 hours for full charged 100% in off mode (I turned it off before charging and never power on during charing)

I already sent it to Sony Repair Service Center at Viet Nam for checking this issue.

After checking charging adapter and re install software for my phone.

It still 3hours and 30 minutes for full charged 100%.

And they answerd me this phone with this charged time is normally.

Do you argee with this checking result ?

Absolutely, I did not agree. I tried to feedback and get correctly answer.

However, I believe this is stupid.

I under contacting with Sony Headquarter by today 31 May 2015.

But this guy can not speak English well.

So he promised to call back me or I will contact in next Monday.

Hope to have right explaination (this charge time is designed for Xperia E4 Dual or simplify the problem) and suitable compensation.

It take me 1 day working off and too much time, money to contact with some Sony Center (Viet Nam, AU,UK,US and Japan....)

You are lucky than me.

I got trouble with charged time on New Xperia E4 Dual, take 4 hours for full charge.

Brought it to Sony Guarranty Center and receive feedback normally. Bull**bleep**!!!

I guess it's normal, depending on the power output of your charger.
