Just to add to the already posted information, when I go to VirginMedia's MY ACCOUNT, I get a message coming up saying ERROR - NO NETWORK CONNECTION.

Well I thought I had most of the issues worked out by this morning but here's another one, and a fairly big issue at that.

At the moment, despite my efforts, I'm unable to connect the the internet. I get persistant messages with the following text.

ERR_internet_disconnected

Wi-fi and mobile data are turned off.

The page can be loaded once you connect to a network.

I just find it a little strange that my emails were coming through just fine yesterday and first thing this morning (around 7am-ish) but nothing since then.

Also, the bar symbol on the top of the screen which shows signal strength, lacks the H or H+ which is usually next to it...

I can confirm I've already checked SETTINGS - Wi-fi to ON and MOBILE NETWORK SETTINGS - Data Enabled to ON.

Maybe there's something else I have missed?

If it's just an issue with email then check Virgins site as they often post details of issues with their servers when pushing emails to 3rd party software as I had this issue last week both on my phone and Office outlook

It appears that apart from hooking into my home wireless system (which isn't VirginMedia), I'm unable to access any online apps, websites or downloads at all on my M2.

Now that I've hooked it up at home, all is working as it should be but I will give your suggestion a try - maybe VM's network is having problems? I can only hope its not a sign of things to come...

Thanks.

Panic over!

It appeared some update was required, but I was unable to download this with no Net connection.

Just in case anyone else has the same issues, it was a case of:

SETTINGS - MORE - INTERNET SETTINGS: Download settings for Internet & MMS

Now it appears I have the H symbol back with the bars showing high speed access has returned. With wi-fi turned off, it appears all is working again.

Thank you for your continued support.
