I have a xperia sp and the phone will not pick up my memory card anymore. It used to until i dropped it and some of the back has popped out where the memory card and sim card are (i have had it put back in place about 3 times but it kept popping back out so i gave up with it but at the time it still worked fine then my memory card started to play up). so I thought that it wasn't picking up my memory card because the back has popped out, but where its popped out its actually my sim card that is over most of the damage and the memory card is next to the damage so im confused to why my sim works but not my memory card? Is it the phone or the memory card? Also now i cant use my memory card im using all my phone memory but it doesnt seem to let me install any more apps or update anything and i struggle to take pictures and stuff because it tells me i dont have enough storage or memory on my phone even though i have 247mb free. I know its not alot but i tried to update an app which said would only take up 15 mb and it wouldnt let me because apparenly i dont have enough room even though i do. Im constantly deleting things to make room on there, like the other day i deleted 85 pictures, 5 videos and 2 apps and it didnt make any difference. can anyone help me pleeeeeeeaaaaaassseeeeeeee?

You could stop by your local Xperia Care

http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/contactUs/

to get it checked and see the extend of the damage.

Another alternative is for you to repair your phone with PCC and then check again

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

Alternatives on How to backup Xperias

http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/36355

You can also empty cache on heavy apps

settings > apps > all > sort them by size > check on facebook, instagram, spotify, google music, album, etc > clear data > on all of them then restart the phone.
