X10 Mini

Ok, the camera isnt the greatest even if you can get decent pictures in good light and close up.

But often even in these condintions the photos gets out of focus and blurry.

The camera has so few settings so you cant really change much.

Any tips on how to use the camera to get better pictures? Or any good app?

I've had the same question as well.

Without flash, almost all the pics are taken blurred...

X10 Mini Pro...you need to press and hold the camera key until the crosshair (square in the middle of the screen) turns green (dont release the key yet)..now press the key harder to capture and you will get a un-blurred photo.

my experience is that the photos generally come out pretty good. however because the phone is so small and light its quite easy to move the camera when you press the camera button down. i have press the button a certain way so as to not move the camera. here are some sample shots from others:

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=196313

ok I must admitt that the photos in the link are good, cant complain there

Just need good lightning and keep camera still, my hands are a bit shaky sometimes

Any tips on how to press the button to ensure stabilty? Sure it sounds simple enough but still

I press the camera button with the very tip of my finger, the boney part. That works for me. If I use the flat part of my finger it seems to move the camera too much. Hope that helps.

Quite a good idea with finger bone.

However, seems like the light is the most important issue when taking the pics.

PS I was really impressed by the photos in the link above Inspired me not only to take video but also photos. Will try
