Sometimes my phone doesn't search network automatically and needs to be restarted. Is this normal?

It could be that your Sim is faulty or dirty

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Is it a micro SIM card or did you trimmed a regular SIM card?

I thought that lollipop update would solve the problem but it still exists.

I don't know whether it is hardware fault or software fault. Before Xperia Z2 I had Xperia Z and never faced such an issue with that.

If you carry out a system repair and you still face issues then it's not software unless you have a 3rd party app that it interfering

Xperia Z2 Update Issue

Recenty I updated to Android 5.0.

In the above figure on the left side on top it shows No Service even though I have mobile network and range. Sometimes it shows the Network Operator while sometimes it shows No Service

In the right side imageit used to show the City and Temperature but now it shows No Network connection even though the phone is connected to WiFi.

Both are not major issues but would like to solve them.

Any suggestions. Thanks
