topic WiFi error message in XPERIA archive

After the latest version update I now get the following error message randomly popping:
Error your WiFi network does not seem to be working. Please make sure your WiFi connection is turned on, that you are connected to it and if necessary signed in. I don't have my WiFi even turned on on the phone and still get the message, and it connects to WiFi at home no problem. It randomly pops up. Any ideas? Sony Xperia Z3 compact.

Hi and welcome to the community!

Hard to say for sure but this sounds like it may be a message from one of your installed apps and not the phone itself. Could you take a screenshot of it?

I can't remember seeing this message before but a Google search suggested it might be an app from the operator 3 called inTouch. Do you have this app?
