auto-update apps not working !

Hi everyone I'm Mohammad and I'm new here.

I have sony xperia z3 compact and after I upgrade it to lollipop the auto-update apps over wi-fi didn't work! and no notifications for updates at all !

any suggestions ?

Have you checked the google play app? Try to clear data and force stop it under settings-apps-all. Set it up again.

Try this: settings-apps-all-google play,force stop and clear data.Restart the device.

I solve the problem by factory data reset,I think I had to do it when I upgraded the device to lollipop.

What I noticed with my Z3C is that after the second Lollipop update the phone became so hot that I guess the system went in protection mode and the device became quite slow. It had issues on performing regular tasks and the screen was lagging in a very bad way.

A Sony rep can confirm that there is a sorta of protection to prevent overheating of the system. (Spoiler alert: It exsist)

However, none of my apps where updating correctly, no wait.. they were just stuck, not downloading nor installing so what I did? I just stop using the phone, turned off. Wait it to became fresh again and turned it on: All returned working regularly without problems.

Hope this will help people and will avoid unnecessary factory resets.

Sorry,I figure out that the problem still goes on even after I restore the device.

now what should I do ?!!
