Usually when I would not use my phone for 30 minutes then unlock it, my screen would turn on and off again. When I press again the part l power button it would turn on and off again. And usually I have to press the camera button to unlock my phone and when I'm in the viewfinder of my phone, it would start to flicker and turn on and off until the screen turns black. And I have to lock my phone and press the camera button. It's a big nuisance because when I need to use my phone, I have to restart it in order for me to use it.

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Sorry but have to repost this issue because no one responded for the last week.

Usualy the issue would happen randomly and sometimes, after I recovered the firmware, the issue still persists. Even after several reboot to the device, still the same issue. Here's the video to help me with the issue.

Hey, do u have the developer options unlocked? (they must be in SETTINGS)

if yes, scroll down to "Show surface updates" and uncheck the box. there might be other settings there that might need unchecking.

if no, go to abput phone, scroll down to "build number", and fast click on it several times. U must get a msg like this: congrats, u are now a developer. Then go back to settings, and "dev opt"s must be right before the" about phone" ....and continue with step 1.

I hope this helps
