Am using a Samsung class 10 64GB SDXC for my Xperia z3 D6653.

Formatted to exFAT.

I can transfer media and all that , but the limit is 4GB . After I have used up 4GB of memory in the SD card , every file above this limit will be deleted .

But , the 4gb limit only happens to FAT32 isn't it ?

I need help fixing this,lurked around but haven't found a solution , Thanks !

Edit ; on 4.4.4 KK , 23.0.1.A.5.77 .
Edit 2 : Tried using USB Transfer cable MTP mode to sync Media Go , manual transfer , wifi transfer and used SD Card Adapter / Reader . Problem Persists

Have you tried with FAT32,just to check if after 4GB everything is deleted? I would suggest you to use a low level format tool and use a computer to format it.

Hey , Yes I Have. It was deleted.
Solution posted was formatting it to exFAT but apparently that doesn't do the trick for me at all.

It isn't hardware problem as well. Problem happens with my Z1 as well

You should get less than 60GB after a conversion to binary. How do you get that much? I think you should stop by a sony service and let them take a look.

I tested this here and for me it works without issues, both using MTP and MSC.

To me this sounds like a bad or fake SD card. Even with FAT32 it would not explain the issue you're seeing. With FAT32 you can't write single files larger than 4GB but you can still write for example 10 files that are 2GB in size to the card.

Did you run a test of the card using H2testw as suggested by Thommo? Make sure you test all available space with write+verify in the application.
