Roaming problem

Good day, would just like to ask help regarding setting dual sim.. Am from Philippines and using sim1 as my native sim (smart), came here to Japan and inserted on sim2 their native sim (docomo). Why can't I receive simultaneous signal on both? I can receive signal on each if I set them to lte but the other will automatically set to GSM only which then loses signal..

That is how dual SIM dual standby works. Second SIM will be set on GSM only.

Thanks for the quick reply but what I meant was I loose signal completely on the other sim.. I needed still to receive calls and text on the gsm only...

While you are on a call on the first one,you will show up as busy on the 2nd one. There should be some kind of smart call handling though.

Still you say the 2nd one is out of reach when you are on the first one?

Yes... Out of reach on the 2nd one if I choose data on 1st (and vice versa)...
