Front camera LOST

Hello everybody, have my Sony Xperia Z1 taken on holiday with the water,(Pool) since it is supposed to be watertight. after 4-5 images went nothing more and the phone has automatically secured in theSafe Mode. I did not get out there with several from the restart mode. then I have the phone back. it was still in the safe mode. only after a fewdays it was on its own again get out of this mode. However, since then the internal camera away. simply because no symbol. deleting the cache + data has brought nothing. hope someone can help

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Took it in the pool for 10 seconds after checking the ports were tightly closed. Phones goes into safe mode (3 vibrations after pushing power button). I blew air in with a hair dryer and it came back on but the camera wouldn't start. Disabled and re-enabled themanufacturer camera app and got it back after a few hours. Now the option to switch to the front camera is gone and I can't get it back.

So fed up with this phone. I've had it only a year and a half and it's already malfunctioning, restarting itself all the time. Not to mention the camera was crap to begin with. Last Sony phone I buy if there isn't a fix.
