Data usage cycle stuck in august 2024

Hello,

For some reason my Xperia Z1 Data usage cycle is stuck on august 2024.

It will not give me any accurate information on how much data i've used in the graph or the text below.

The usasge is only accurate when i scroll down to the current date. And then only on the text below the graph. The graph is, as it is, useless to me.

The warning notices do work fortunately, but its hard to judge the amount of data i've used up.

Changing the date didn't help, also changing the cycle date doesnt work. It always goes back to the future. (pun intended)

The device is up to date with the latest software.

Can someone please assist me in this? I'd like the current date to display, as well as the graph to work.

The date and time are both set on auto.

Ive restarted the device in safemode, went to the data usage. It was still 2024. I've changed it to current date.

It still returned to 2024, with the graph failing.

But thank you for showing how to restart in safemode.

Thank you very much guys!

I backed up my device, and reset it.

Now the data cycle shows the current date. I can't chekc the graph, since all records have been wiped. but this is an imporvement nonetheless.
