bad outdoor performance

Hi i just purchased my z2 a week ago .all in all its an excellent device but one thing is really off putting.the phone lags outside usually in bright sunlight. Apps open slower and animations are really choppy.indoors everything is buttery smooth.Anyone else has this problem.

That doesn't make sense. Sunlight affecting the phone's performance, is it that indoors you are on wifi?

No.i barely use wifi im on a data connection most of the time

Animations are laggy outdoors in bright conditions idk why beats me as well

No that didnt help i booted into safe mode and it kept saying xperia home has stopped

Might be related to light sensor. Try to turn off self brightness control in screen brightness option, and see if it helps. Your light sensor might be broken.

Yea thats what i think as well.although i keep my phone on auto brightness all the time

I also accessed the hidden menu through the dialer and the light sensor seemed to work fine.as in if i moved my phone to more light it showed the change

Try turning off auto brightness, see if that changes anything.

Tried everything but still there is slowdown as in slow and choppy animations when opening and closing apps

By any chance, do you have Developer options on?
