i had recently sent my z1 off for repair, but with no communication i had to chase sony to see if they had received it.... finally got message after a few days and was quoted £180 for repair which i thought was way too much so i decided to have it returned at 20 odd quid, that was tuesday night i paid for it and still havent received it thursday night....as sony is a huge name i think customer service skills are shocking, im seriously thinking of changing phone maker in future, hugely disappointed customer.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Sorry to hear about your phone.
I recommend that you contact a service location or local Sony Xperia support (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/) for assistance with having your phone investigated and repaired. If water has entered the phone while all flaps were closed there may a problem with the sealing. You should not try to open the phone by yourself.
