Problem sync with osX

Hi everybody,

So, I got the Sony X10 mini, and a mac. I downloaded Sony Bridge in order to sync my contacts (and sms if possible). However, when I connect the phone, the button "Backup" is not available. Also, if I do understand correctly, this will not help me getting the contacts (nor the sms) from the phone to the computer.

Is there a way to get the sms in a text format and

Is there a way to get the contacts of my phone in a Vcard-like format (and if possible, without going through google) ?

There are apps that will do this and also programs like wondershare data recovery
