Google Play Services not working after lollipop update

Hi, I just recently updated my Xperia Z to lollipop and the first thing I encountered was that my google play services isn't working anymore. Therefore, I can't sign in on any of my google services in my phone, chrome, youtube, play store, etc.

I already tried clearing cahce and clearing the data from the app settings. and it still doesn't work. I'm on my rope's end here. I don't know if its sony or lollipop that's broken.

Settings > apps > all > playstore > uninstall updates > restart the phone > try again.

I have the Xperia Z3.. Have the exact same problem.. Please help.. Uninstall updates>Resart the phone doesn't work

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES (Not play store) -> Clear cache and restart your phone.

Tried that too.. Doesnt work.. I got a notification saying "Google play services wont work unless you update google play services" try to update via Google Chrome.. But there is no update available.. It says I updated 04 June 2015.. Same day I updated to Lollipop

Google Paly services will update in the background, and it may take up to a few hours to get updated. You can always download the latest version of Google Play Services by searching it on APKMirror site, you'll need to activate "Unknown Sources" option in Settings -> Security.

You can also try doing a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Hi thanks for the replies. I've tried everything stated so far, including downloading the latest version of the play services from apkmirror. Still no luck, keeps getting an error when trying to sign in to any google services.

I've also tried the repair from PCcomanpion, also no luck.

when you repaired the phone with PCC, was it a clean install, which means that everything was deleted? what if you try a different google account?

Yes, it was a clean install. An no, any account won't sign in at all.

Hi,

From the Android System Recovery menu - wipe cache.
Check your time, data and time zone (you can set-up them manually).
Try to log-in into YouTube or Play Store with your Google account.
Check for firmware updates.
In Developer options check Allow mock locations.

Still problem persists let us know.

I fixed my google services by switching my sim card.. It is fixed now.. I can go on play store.. Everything.. Who knew that could fix the problem.. Everyone having trouble logging in to their google account should try this... Thank you for all of your patients and help.. I do appreciate it all

please urgent!!!!

i cant use my phone right now because it's keep pop up says google srcive has stopped and i cant use my phone anymore right now. please please please. do something!!! i cant do anything on my phone after updated to lolipop. u said its worth to wait for this update but my phone has become worst as ever!!!
