Since I updated the phone on Monday with the latest Sony release 5.0.2 Build Number 23.1.A.1.28 the phone suddenly omits a loud buzzing sound like an out of tune radio station. It lasts about 2-3 seconds and then goes off by itself. What is this all about and why are these updates causing SO MUCH damage to the phone?

I am really sick to death of having issues with this phone which I only received in March this year. I should be able to rely on Sony updates NOT causing damage to the handset but seemingly not.
