No Sound

My phones just stopped from ringing, it cant activates loud speaker nor pay music. ive chescked all sount or rings sttings nothing has changed.

Any help please

Settings-apps-all,look for smart connect.Clear data.Restart.

Can you advise if Message tones still work, or is this only subject to Music, Ringtone and Loud Speaker whilst on a call?

You could try running a Software Repair on the phone to see whether it brings the volume back for you.

Note: Running a Software Repair will delete user data, If you can turn on your phone & unlock the screen then you will be able to back up all of your data before running the repair.

Backing up your handset

To back up your phone using PC Companion
1. Go to Support to install PC Companion on a Windows computer.
2. When installed, start PC Companion on the computer.
3. Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable.
4. Click Start under Backup & Restore.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Running the software repair

Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software and install it on your PC.

Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Please ensure your phone is powered off and not connected to the PC when you begin this process. You are not required to connect the phone until after step 10.

1. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

2. Phone Software Update.

3. Start.

4. Repair Phone

5. Continue

6. Accept data removal

7. Next

8. Wait for prepare

9. Select Phone

10. Follow the connection steps

Before posting this here I had already ran all the above mentioned.
I have updated my PC Companion before I ran the repair.
My phone Software ( Android Version 4.4.4)
what stopped from working is loud sound as...
1.Alarms, Ringing , Music and Video sound or loud speaker.

It really worries as I just bought this phone Z1 Compact last year and I wanted to buy the Z3 now but it looks like getting to Sony was the worst mistake I've ever done.
Please guys help on this issue it's annoying as I'm a contractor and I keep missing work calls and obviously my alarms.

Hey Jake
I did tried you solution unfortunately I didn't help.
I went to Settings, Apps I then cleared data and I restarted the phone bit nothing changes.

Even when I run on Safe Mode no sounds coming out. All sounds from Loud Speaker, Ringtones and Music works only when headsets are connected.
Despite the phone repair that I've ran on this phone nothings seems to get fixed. I'm very disappointed really.
