messaging goes unresponsive when connected to wifi

Hi!!! i have a problem in my xperia Z , whenever i connect to wifi , messaging goes unresponsive and it gets hangs , so when when wifi is connected i cannot able to open my message inbox or view anything in the inbox which is really annoying , can any one please help me in getting this fixed ?

Hi,

That sounds strange. Do you experience the same behaviour if you use the mobile network on your phone (3G/4G)? I suggest that you boot your phone into safe mode to see if same thing happens:

Are you using a third party messaging app?

Taskillers and/or antivirus?
