Hey everyone, does any of you experience focus issues with the xperia z3c while shooting timelapse videos??? I have come across focus issues with my z3c, which causes the rendered timelapse to have a shaky or jittery effect which is really bad. I have never experienced this problem with my old xperia zr, and so i am really disappointed with this z3c in this aspect. Below is a YouTube link which shows what i am trying to emphasize. In the clip you can see the video looks very shaky and jittery because the camera is not focused properly when the photos were taken. Is this a hardware problem or can it be fixed with a software update? https://youtu.be/z9nuOWMvh8w

No not timeshift, i ment timelapse. My phone only has a bumper case with nothing blocking the camera lens. A timelapse is created by taking alot of photos in a time interval of lets say 5 seconds between shots, and then a video is rendered from the photos giving you fast scene movements. Its like speeding up a video clip. In sony's native camera app it can be downloaded as 'sukros timelapse app'

Yes maybe the problem here is with the app. However i have used at least 2 other apps (camera fv-5) and timelapse pro which have both worked fine on my old xperia zr, but they both also display focus issues on my z3c

This is the sukros app developers direct reply.

"We've been having the exact same issue. On our Xperia ZR there were no issues with focus but since the Z3/Compact have come out Sony seem to have changed the camera libraries, and there are some issues as a result.

We've tried to mitigate the issue in our latest update. On the Z3 Compact you could try a resolution of 720p, a longer interval and leave the default focus as it is.

We'd love to see your timelapses without the refocusing. Please let us know how you get on.

Regards,
Sukros"
