Backup and restore not working.

Hello, I hope someone can help!

I backed-up my phone on 21-May as I had to send it for repairs.

I just got it back updated the Android software and now I am trying to restore my contacts.

Unfortunately, when I try to do so, using the PC Companion, it is switching to Xperia Transfer and then telling me...

"New Xperia back-up required

Your Sony Xperia Z (C6603) backup was made with an old Android version which is not compatible with this application.

Please update your old Xperia phone/tablet to the latest available Android version, then make a new backup of your old Xperia phone/tablet using the Backup & Restore application. [I tried this, it only restores photos and videos, won't restore contacts]

Once done, start this guide again and select your new backup."

As the phone was wiped when I sent it for repair, I cannot back it up!

How can I retrieve the contacts I backed-up last month? I am sure they are on the computer, but I can't get them back onto the phone...
