Audio playback problem.

Hi I have a new sony xperia z3 and i have encounterd a problem when I walk around and have the phone in my pocket and listening to music it sometimes automaticly plays the next track when the song I am listening to is not done yet has anyone else gotten this problem? I am using Poweramp as a player.

Have you considered that poweramp is the issue and not Sony

Yes because I used the same app on my Samsung Galaxy s4 and it never did anything like that.

Contac the app developer as its up to them, not Sony, to address this issue, you can also use Google Music or Walkman as suggested above, both, great apps.

So if I switch back to walkman and get the same problem I can contact Sony about it? because I highly doubt it is Poweramp, I will do this the next couple of days and I will come back, thank you.

If you encounter the same issue you should check if the audio files are corrupted, or perhaps its something as simple as the phone getting unlocked or you press the power button > screen turns on > walkman/music widget its on the lock screen > while you walk/run the skip/next button it's pressed.

Walkman has the options to repeat or shuffle or skip to the next song.

It's in poweramp settings, has been for well over a year now, of course if you updated the app on old phone this feature would be OFF as default.

OK.
Go to settings, audio and go in "auto advance fading"
Turn this to "no fading"
Then "manual track change fading"
Again set at "no fading"
Untick "fade on seek"
Untick "cut silence"

That's it.
