Last year I bought Sony xperia L, it worked well for 1 year but then it started showing network issues wherein phone would get no signal if Signal strength is low(pls note, I could use 3G on samsung mobile with same sim card). So I went to Sony Service center, they upgraded OS to 4.2. But still problem persisted. I gone through forums and thought of derading it back to 4.1.2, service center denied it saying they only upgrade and no downgrade facility available in Sony :smiley cry:

I though of giving a try and did downgrade it to 4.1.2, but still faced problem.

Yesterday, I went to service center again, and i was told that motherboard should be replaced which will cost me 9000 INR(new phone costs 12000 INR). One thing i did not understand here, if problem is with motherboard, how every other feature is working also how phone is receiving signals at some locations?

I find Sony service centers very pathetic in Pune, India. If this is kind of service being offered why should I again buy Sony phone?
