Screen cracking from light pressure

I was putting on a screen protector(The irony is strong in this one) I used the squeegy provided with the screen protecter and as I got to the top of the phone once I went over the top speaker I heard a crack and from the top speaker to the middle of the screen was a spider crack! Only 1 month of owning this phone and I get this. Little dissapointed in letting myself try this phone out -.- My S4 fell down stairs, out of a car and off a roof and the screen lasted 2 years before I "upgraded' to this phone. Sad too because I really enjoyed the look and style of this Z3.

You can see the point of impact on the crack, perhaps you have dropped it before or there was a lot of pressure applied to an specific region of the screen and it created micro cracks, just waiting for more pressure to expand.
