Hi Krishnanmshr,

Welcome to the community.

Ram is definitely a factor with performance on a device, however so is storage space and CPU power. Although you may have 500mb of ram left, you may be lacking in storage space, you may also have an application on your device that is not optimised appropriatel and is causing issues with performance.

The best thing you can do is go through your apps and try removing some to see if the lagging goes away.

On other thing to note, this issue could also be due to a SD card playing up as well as a SIM card. It may be well worth, backing up your SD card and trying to format it to see if this helps.

Let us know how you get on.

This could be a result of a full SD card, I suggest trying to remove the card and test for a period of time and see if the issue continues, remember the device is also accessing the SD card, and needs to find specific data on it, if it is full that timeframe becomes longer.
