Tablet z update error

Hi,

I tried doing a firmware update on my tablet and now it won't boot up.

When I hold the power button, Sony appears on the screen and then it turns black for a second or two. The next screen says that the was an update error and that I need to plug the tablet back it to my computer to try again. I've tried repairing with PC Companion but it won't work. PC Companion sees and recognizes the tablet but it says it can't connect once I try doing the repair.

Please help.

Hi 4rcon, welcome to the community!

Please make sure that your tablet is powered off completely and not connected to the computer. Press Start under Support Zone > Phone/Tablet software update > Repair my phone/tablet > continue to follow the on-screen instructions until PC Companion tells you to connect your device.
