problem charging - cable is not OK

hello,

I have a Xperia Z3 compact since October 2014 and I am very happy with this phone
my problem is that my phone is not charging
- With docking station DK48
- With the charger
- The cable directly into a USB port
but the mobile is loaded with a different USB cable directly into a USB port

the problem seems to come from the cable, someone know this problem?
How long to receive a new cable from Sony?

Note: I normally use the docking station DK48

Contact your local Sony Xperia Support, they should be able to give you more information and timing regarding your issue

The docking station will not work with regards to charging your device when plugged into a USB port on a Pc as it needs to be and will only work when connected to a mains socket

when i try my cable on a USB port, i didn't use the docking station but i plugged directly my mobile

Then it's possible that your power output from your USB ports are giving enough power or your cable is fault and worst case is your phone's USB port is faulty - You would need to test the 1st factors and if you have no results then you need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
