Z1 Compact screen dead when swapping cameras

My screen just turns black when i was swapping back to front camera... and phone works but screen is dead i tried every solution with button holding phone is in good condition it never fall down... when i hold buttons i feel wibrations and light above the screen blinks like when tel works normally and i dont know what to do now please help

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

If that fails then you need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

You could also try clearing the data fro Camera and Cameras within the apps section.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Camera and Cameras > Clear Data.

Try using it, if this does not help try Alexdons instructions, however failing this, you may need to get the device to a service agent.
