yes,lolz sony make sound become smaller,all sound like wechat,messenger,whtapps sound all go down,hope can got fix next update

I also have experienced lower volume in the headset speaker after Lolipop upgrade. Speaker volume seems lower as well as alarms are not as loud as I remember. Looking at settings and app configuration I didn't find anything to restore the sound to volumes I remember it being before. Sound via ear buds and headphones is fine, volume goes pretty high and sounds good but the phone on its own seems the volume is weaker now.

i have that problem to... all sound in my experia z is very low, until i cant hear it

how to solve that problem..

C6503 v5.02. The same problems. The level of volume is so low - rings, notifications and sound of player too. Sony, fix it please.

I have the same problem with my Xperia Z after Lollipop update: notification and alarm sound are too low volume.

Other than that I am pretty happy with the update sofar. The phone seems a lot more responsive than with Kitkat.

I have an Xperia ZL C6506 with the same issue, read in other android forum (not xperia related) that sound level is restored to the kitkat level extracting the micro sd card and start the phone without it, I've tried myself and notifications sound it's ok, even when sd card is back in the phone. Sadly sound volumen in the earphones only increases when there is no sd card.
