Sony default messaging app

I just updated to lollipop, all seems well until I opened sony's default messaging app. The app does not respond and presents me a whitescreen. I waited for several minutes and still it presented me a whitescreen. Any idea how should I fix this?

settings > apps > all > messaging > clear data > restart the phone > check again.

Try Settings then Apps then swipe to All then locate and open Messaging and tap on Force stop then Clear cache and Clear data then reboot your device and test

Thank you for your reply, I tried doing it several times but the messaging app still displays white screen. However, when someone sent a text message to me, somehow, the messaging app works fine now.

Have you moved the app to the SD card and connected the phone to a computer on MSc?

Boot on safe mode and see if you experience the same issue.

no i never transferred any app to my sd card. and what is msc?

@phy yes i tried rebooting.restarded 5 times now.but still i got the same issue..did you guys experienced this after the update?
