hello,

i updated my phone to lollipop 5.0, it is in general good till now,

but i have two very silly problems:

1) no notifications are displayed on my lock screen even for missed calls or sms's .. there is no any icon or symbol that informs me if i have missed any call or received a message ; and i have to unlock my phone every time to check

in the Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> i selected the option to show all the notifications.. but nothing changed

2) also on the lock screen , not widget for the walkman or the sound cloud to enable me to pause the players or to navigate to the next song

please advise how can i solve any of these issues...

Settings > sound & notification > show all notifications and also

notification access

make sure that there are apps listed there.

Have you enabled under Sound and notification to show all notification content when device is locked?

i already have the option "show all notification content" selected

but there are no apps listed in "Notification access" screen

so what can i do?

and also how can i know if i have a third party app for this?

Simple

sound & notifications > scroll down > App notificications > select the app

No I am not using a third-party screen lock app
And there is nothing listed under the "Notification access" screen... Please advise

how many accounts do you have on your phone? is this the main account?

You should be able to see

settings > sound & notification > under notification > notification light , when device is locked, app notifications, notifications access

open app notifications > select the app

I discovered the reason of the problem, the email app of my work called afaria has an access to my lock screen
I disabled it and then disabled the email app
Then the problem is solved

But I had another problem now is that I will not have my work email on my device :S

What if you use the Gmail app with your work email?

It's restricted to use only this app called afaria client with the email exchange app on android due to security reasons... so i cannot use another app..
