There's a probability that you did damage the pins insde SIM tray. Best idea to take your phone for inspection at a service center.

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/

Hope u can help.! Thanks in advance..
I have a sony xperia z1 s unlocked, worked perfectly for over a year till yesterday..
I was changing chips but while doing it I left the phone unattended for a few minutes unfortunately my baby boy got a hold of my z1 s and inserted the chip holder of an iPhone 5 inside my z1s sim connector got stuck on inside my z1, in order to get it out I forced it out with more force then I had too.. Ever since my phone is not reading any sim cards, tried a few different ones but no luck. I take the sim card out and the phone shuts off like it's supposed to, I turn it on with chip in and it says, No sim, emergency calls only!
Do u think I broke my sim connector? Thanks for ur help!!
