I've had this happen to my phone twice now (phone is only 4 months old). Both times I let the battery drain to 0% before charging it, and in the morning the phone was working properly again. Still no clue what caused the issue in the first place.

Have xperia z3 screen has suddenly gone blank - device is fully charged - (not dropped - no water damage before you suggest this is the problem)

Can hear text notifications, can hear phone ringing but no screen

Have tried soft reset - no response not even Sony logo

I am really pissed off this phone is less than a month old - has been nothing but trouble, wish I had stuck with apple

All I need know is to be told to return to for warranty and be without phone for 7 to 10 days probably with a hard reset - so much much to having a reliable business phone. This is a MAJOR IMPACT to my business.

I need support now

You need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care but if the phone is less than a month old then in some country's you are entitled to a straight swap for faulty items http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
