something next to front camera

Is it the light sensor or something wrong?

The device was in water and the camera hasn't got any condensation also the water marks are white so it's not water under the screen

Yes that's the ambient light sensor

Hey so I have some dust between the rubber and I putted my nail in and I seen it move up is that the waterproof part or not? Please don't move this forum to any other forums I made

@Curnow1 There's no need to create new posts, I would say that the device its no longer waterproof, you already knew this.

I marked where I pasted my nail and cleaned the dust. It went up a little could it affect waterproof? Oh btw it went up but came back down To normall.

Please, I really need to know is that part a part which is surrounded with adhives to make it waterproof or not.

It's not waterproof, you already know that your devices aren't waterproof since they have cracks and all that.

That's not smart, unless you want to ruin your tablet, why would you risk it?

Anyway it survived it was dunked. Hey i know it was not smart but I actually need the waterproof function. Anyways if I sent the device for a vacuum test and would fail then sony would find a reason why. If sometimes was wrong and they would stay it was made by me i would have to buy a new tablet or pay. So whatever mate. The Z1/2 picture helped because then I opined the usb flap and checked that the gummy material is just as bumper incase of a drop to reduce damage and that it has nothings to do with waterproofing

While your here can your tell me why does it say on my tablet to select it's Mic sensitivity plus I cant clear that notification
