disappearing apps

Phy — Wed, 28 Jan 2015 05:38:19 GMT

My phone is acting up today.
So one of the apps from my home screen disappeared. I looked for it where all the apps are located so I can drag and and drop it back in place but it's not there either.
*the app in question is whatsapp if it makes any difference.

@Phyyou have quite a bit of issues today, grab your phone > walk towards a window and throw it, and get a n IPhone, Jk

Do you have any Antivirus, taskillers, ram apps or any other intrusive app?

Yeah, it sounded like a good plan up until get an iPhone, I'm not a sheep, I have brain and like to use devices instead of having a device "think" for me.

But in all seriousness, nope none of the above.

Yes, yes you do, gold fish, if I recall correctly

What if you uninstall and re-download the app.

Empty 100MB of your internal storage > restart your phone and check again. Clear the data/cache of heavy apps such as instagram, Facebook, Google music, chrome etc or just uninstall some apps

Wait. Nevermind. It worked. I forgot to restart phone. Restarted the phone and the app reappeared where all the apps are located. And I was able to drag and drop it back to the home screen. Thanks
