I have a xperia z1 compact and now i'm living in sweden so i need to unblock it to put a swedish card. My company (orange) gave me the unlock code but it is not working. They repeated to me the three times that i called and it was always the same so there was no mistake. Yesterday i called again and they said they would contact the sony house to see if my code had changed but i havent received any news yet. Could you help me? Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear that you're not able to unlock your phone.

Before contacting Orange to get the unlock code, did you perhaps try entering any random codes? You only have 5 attempts at entering the correct unlock code and if you enter wrong code 5 times you will not be able to unlock it using the correct code.

You can see if you have any attempts left by starting it without a SIM-card, dial *#*#7378423#*#* and select Service info -> SIM lock. If you see [X] next to Network and then "0" this means that you have entered wrong code too many times. In that case i recommend that you contact your local support team to see if they can help you.
