Power Button & Volume buttons - broken. Can't turn phone on

So a couple days ago, my power button and volume button and even the camera button stopped working. I thought I'd bricked my phone! But once I got home, I put the charger in and the screen came on. I've been using Sony's "double tap to wake" option to use the phone.

Then battery runs out completely, I charged it and now because the power button isn't working, I can't turn the phone on.

Tried adb reboot, tried holding volume buttons, tried hard reset button under USB and microsd flap, nothing. Screen comes on when it's charging, the phone works perfectly (apart from buttons ofc).

Not dropped and kept away from water.

Bootloader is unlocked, so I guess my warranty is gone. I can't get a repair quotation from Sony. Phone is D8533

All you can do is find a 3rd party repair shop or contact Xperia care and ask about paying for repairs or if this being hardware is covered as rooting etc should have had no effect on this feature http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

I am having the exact same situation and it's been only one month that i bought my Xperia Z3 Compact. It is so pity that Apple has way better device support. I asked where i bought device and they said i had to send my phone to service and i would take at least two weeks! How nice!

My z3 compact has an issue with power button...

It works still, but the spring inside seems to be broken or moved..

Should I open it and fix it? Or I have to use it so unless it will fail?

Personally I prefer not no open it because the factory does it better))

I was really hoping there was a solution for this.
My power button died a couple of days ago and I was out today and forgot if it died I have no way of turning it on
Was hoping there was some computer - USB way to start it up.
Has anyone gone to repair theirs? how much does it cost?
