urgent help 3g

Hello,

My 3g isn't working at all.
Tried my sim in my friends lumia 3g was working fine.

Checked with career but settings are perfect.

And also tried switching wcdma and GSM yet only 2g is working.. Also tried software repair in SUS..

Please help guys..

SUS no longer works, also re-download the APN settings

settings > more > internet settings > accept

How old is your micro SIM card? do you have any antivirus? also contact your network carrier as this could be a poor network coverage

Bro my micro sim is just bought in Jan.. Also contacted network career but everything is OK..no Antivirus... My sim works on 3g in a friends phone.. Also checked apn but they are fine..

And also tried other 3g sim but only 2g works

How shall I know weather my phone is 3g supported.. Coz on GSM arena xperia c5302 is fully.. Which is mine. And 3g works on my friends phone with my sim

Have you flashed any other firmware?

3G 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - C5302

which carrier/network do you have? because your SIM card might work on other phones that are compatible with your carrier's 3G bands but perhaps your SP it is NOT compatible.

no actually i dont have any idea about flashing with any other firmware ...if i would had i would have rather go with cyanogen mod

also as you can see in my previous replies i have mentioned that my sim card when inserted in my friends phone 3G works on it.

Again, if the SIM card works on other phones that could be because those other phones are compatible with that network's 3G frequencies, who is network/carrier ? which country?

hmm.. but i stay in mumbai as well and again, 3g works on my friends lumia phone when my sim card inserted into it..

and please its not a problem with the carrer its a problem with xperia sp c5302 as i have researched on google about it .. many have complaint that 3g wont work on it also thers is a lot of network lag due to which battery gets consumed more. and even it has a very bad RAM management. list goes on ...

its ok i'll manage if anyone out here helps me entering recovery mode of c5302 coz as of now sony has stopped support for this handset and going furthur we wont expect any future updtes from it aswell..

so i have a better option called cyanogenmod

help me install it..

i have tried turning of phone and usb connect & volume - button but green light appears for around 10 sec and charging continues ... please help ppl. 😕

You have few options

1. contact your local Xperia Care

2. try a new MICRO SIM card

3. flash a custom ROM if you believe that will help you (check the XDA Forum)

Also on a side note, on your friend's phone check the signal strength
