mobile data not working properly

If leave a wifi area my xperia z2 doesn't start to use mobile data, so I have to reboot like ten times a day...
Also i even lose mobile data without entering a wifi sometimes.furthermore the signal is pretty weak compared to my old xperia Z 😞

Just wondering, is the Internet Setting done properly on your phone?
Go to setting, pick more under and wireless and networks. Then you pick your carrier name from the pop up

Location based WI-FI can be found under power management in setting

Yes, the Internet settings should be correct. Access point name is my carrier (t-mobile). I just refreshed the settings. Location based wifi was off. I remember I read somewhere that it's a hardware problem but I lost the link...
Just happened again, it's driving me nuts!

Of yes, make sure that T-mobile have your 4G service turned on.
Of that is not the problem see if a different SIM card is necessary. I remembered reading somewhere that T-mobile subscriber finally got data working on his Z2 after insisting his/her SIM replaced with the one for S 4

Yes, but only with this device. I've been using this sim for over a year with my xperia Z (not Z2) without any issues...

Yes. I'll try that and let you know then... But since today morning I didn't had any problems. The only thing I changed was the location based wifi from off to on.

Well, hope that is the solution for your problem.
I thought location based WI-FI is more for power saving.

So the problem still exists... I tried another sim card but was the same thing. no idea how to fix it... I don't want to send it to Sony cause it would take weeks and I can't live without a smartphone 😉

Finally fixed the issue by disabling LTE in the settings. It's the combination of the t-mobile LTE and the xperia z2. Seems like there's no other workaround...
