Xperia U Screen Lock Bypass Code

Hello, I have an Xperia U and the kids were playing with it and have now locked the screen with a code I don't know or they can't remember. Are they like some of the newer Xperias in that you can bypass the screen lock with retail video going through the Emergency Call screen? that way you don't lose any of the saved data in the phone. I understand that some might not want to share this info in public so you can PM me if you want. It's just I have everything in that phone and yes I know I'm stupid I have never backed it up, so I don't really want to do a factory reset.

If you have internet and location enabled,you might be able to unlock it using:

- gmail - recover

- myxperia - if you change the PIN/password

- google device manager

If the above is not helping,you have to perform a software repair.

Sorry to say but but your only option it to perform a system repair which will erase all data unless it's on a SD card then you would want to remove this 1st, It is for security reasons that that this happens, To perform a system repair follow the below guide

Performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
