Hello,

i have a xperia z2 D6503 with original firmware 23.0.1.A.0.167 and Android 4.4.4. I have a pioneer AVH-X7700BT Mirrorlink certified. When i try to connect z2 on pioneer i have a error 42. Smartphone fails to connect. Anyone can help me? Thanks a lot.

I have the same problem!

Cellphone: Xperia Z2 (D6543), firmware 23.0.1.A.0.167, Android 4.4.4 (not rooted).

Car headunit: Pioneer AVIC F960BT, Mirrorlink certified.

When I connect the Z2 thru USB cable, the Mirrorlink mode is enabled in Z2 and the Pioneer, but after few seconds, I got "USB error code 42" in phone and the connection fails.

I read another forums that Z1/Z2 with Android 4.4.2 works OK with Mirrorlink mode.

My last hope is the Lollipop 5.0 upgrade will return Mirrorlink again, if not, I will sell the phone.

Before that, can somone help Us?
