Power button disconnects call

During a call the screen will go blank after a period, how do you bring it back to life? If you use the power button it disconnects the call is that customisable?

Hi, the screen should go off/black during a call when it is held near your face...it is the Proximity Sensor that does this....it stops any contact between your face & the screen pressing buttons/apps etc

If during a call you hold the phone away from your face does the screen not come back on????

I hawe sometimes a probl like that too, but after making restart usualy all works fine.

Hi JJM29,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

You can change settings in the handset that stops the power button from terminating a call. Do the following.

Menu > Settings > Accessibility > Untick Power button ends call.

In regards to the screen going blank, this may be due to a cover or protective sheet you may have added to the device, I suggest removing them and testing to see if the issue continues.
