My phone got wet in the pool because it slipped of my hand and when i picked it up it was shutdown so i dried it immidietly (xperia z1c) put it in bag of rice for i think roughly 24 hours only :3 . I thought it would be fine by then . and plug it in the Pc . so it would low charge . the led light glowed red i was glad it charged ! but i had a bad feeling it still had water i un plugged it after a minute or so . and had the idea of opening it . well the back panel already was like pullable by hand because it was sticking out a little bit . i didnt had problem removing the back pane land saw on top of the battery water :3 cleaned it now all over and almost made sure that it had no more water left . and tried to charge it again the led glowed so i left it for about an hour and still at red . and phone wont turn on . Also found some rust on the front speaker and there was white stuff near the socket for the battery .

Question . !

#How to know if battery is dead ?

#how to know if the power button doesnt work ?

#How to know phone is dead ?

You should get a new battery and check again, I wouldn't risk it with that battery, with that said, there might be other issues aside the battery, perhaps the LCD, or the motherboard.
