My drop down menu has completely disappeared leaving me unable to clear any notifications any ideas whats up with it

Have you tried a restart?

Done a restart, software repair and factory reset nothing helped sent it away to get fixed but they sent it back unrepaired as the sticker that was inside the sim card tray is missing so apparently the warranty is void so was trying to find out if it was something simple that could be fixed
