I'm using three mobile in the UK at the moment.
As stated, the data connection, (the H symbol on top of the signal bar) keep disappearing and lost the data connection, and it wouldn't be fixed without rebooting the device.
All the power saving settings are disabled.
It is definitely not weak signals problem as I lose data even in the same room. On my previous phone with the exact same sim card works totally fine.
I've also seen a few people with the same issues on the forum, has this problem ever been dealt with??

Thanks.

The problem could be that you need a brand new micro SIM card, also double check with your carrier for any network coverage issues

Well I too kinda got this issue and well.... Wifi works perfect though. You could try to update your data transfer setting... Ask for your service provider for a fresh setting. My data over sim is not constant... It disappears suddenly and appears from no where

Alrighty thanks for the help.
Also I was using micro sim before, the three store cut the sim into a nano one. Any chance cutting the sim will result in any problem?

It should not, but you never know.

Save your self time going into the 3 Store and phone Customer Services and they will send replacement (A Trio SIM has all SIM types on one card) type.

I went to my local store in hope that I get replacement SIM as I cut my standard SIM size to micro SIM and did

not want to risk damaging the chip.

Cut the long story short, I was told to ring Customer Services as they could not find my details on system (Pay as You Go)

when I did while still in store, sudenly they could find my details, but wanted to charge me 5 quid!

Hi guys,
I've been to the 3 Store local, and that its not a problem of a sim, but because of the network settings that,

3 UK does not support GSM (2G) which they claimed my phone has perhaps connected to 2G if the 3G's signal aren't very strong. they set my phone in to WCDMA only mode (3G) only which is a shame because I can't use the 4G, but it seems it fixed the problem I was having, and no more losing connections. Is it possible to have a setting that are (LTE)preferred/WCDMA and without 2G? Sorry for my rusted english.
