STAMINA mode not making a difference

Everytime i turn on stamina mode it doesnt make any difference at all with the feature off. I noticed this problem yesterday as i heard my phone vibrate for a bbm message. i dont have any apps added on the white list but i still recieve all massages and notifications as normal without stamina mode activated.

When i activate stamina mode it says estimated time for battery is 18 hours and when i turn it off it says 7 hours. And with the stamina mode activated my battery lasts about 7 hours anyway. i really love this phone and dont want these small problems putting me down 😞

I also went to battery usage in settings and it showed that my phone has been awake the entire 10 hours since i unplugged my phone and stamina mode was turned on the entire time. My phone is now on 15% without me really using it. my screen has been on for only about 1/15th of the time while my phone has been awake the ENTIRE time.

You could try to reset stamina like this: first disable it,go to settings-apps-all-eco mode controller,force stop and clear data.Restart your device.

i did try that earlier in the day and didnt work. just tied it again now and also didnt work?

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

i will try that tomorrow. only problem is our computer **bleep** and i cant even connect my xperia with the computer. so i will try installing pc companion tomorrow. keep posting if anybody finds more solutions, thanx!

I'm trying to connect my phone with pc companion now and i want to backup my music on the computer. when i click on backup on my computer and i connect my xperia with the USB it just keeps loading (making circle) and doesnt do anything. i want to back up all my data before doing repair.

Dear alex

I have the same phone and same problem. But even after repair it didn't work again. Problem begins when I install mobilego. When I turn on STAMINA, after a while in standby a notification says mobilego doesn't let STAMINA work properly, and when I tap on it, it brings mobilego app for uninstall. After two time I accidentally tap on "got it" in notifications and STAMINA mode didn't work after. even after all the works.

The installation wizard for xperia wont even install so i dont think this usless computer would even properly connect, pc companion wont find my phone

Now I can't do anything on my computer, it just decided to turn on but show nothing on the screen :|, please tell me if someone have any other idea how to fix this stamina mode problem without using computer please. Otherwise I will have to go back to mtn so they can repair the phone then I have to wait like a week again just for a simple fix

Did you try factory reset? remember to backup your data befor reseting.

I cant backup data because our useless computer just packed up rememer. Otherwise i would've done it in the first place

I have sd card and already back it up now. Its making everything slow and wont show my music on walkman anymore
