settings > apps > all > walkman > uninstall updates

After uninstall of update the update center doesn't offer any update anymore. It always states that phone is up to date. Btw. Xperia Z2 4.4.4

Please help.

You're not alone. I also cannot update other Sony/Xperia apps.

Does your update center also show only one screen stating your phone is up to date even though for your apps you know there are newer versions?

Why should I contact local Xperia Care? Is this not how it's supposed to be?

I remember with 4.4.2 on my Z2 there were 3 different sections in update center now there's only one and no updates shown.

Please let me know if this is wrong before I contact Xperia Care and have my phone turned in as it involves time without phone, having to do all setup again etc...

I really don't know how, but I just got my Walkman updated. Other Sony/Xperia apps haven't yet, though. I'm not sure how Sony managed to do it, but can they do it for the rest, please?

This bug started off when I removed the updates for the Walkman and then it wouldn't update. Then for some reason, the other Sony/Xperia apps got this bug and they also wouldn't update. I have a feeling I got this update by luck, since I essentially removed the updates.
