Hello, I.have been using xperia z for almost over a year now. Recently my phone stopped charged to 100%..stopping between 70-80%. Bt for the past two days my phone's acting crazy. When it reached 40%, the screen.closed on its own, and when I tried opening it, it restarted and closed down again after I tried opening the home page, draining the battery each time really fast. It reached 1% at no time. It happened thrice now. It doesn't happen when I charge.my phone or my batterys more than 50% bt when it hits below that level problem starts emerging. Please help, I.dnt wnt to reboot as I wil lose ll my medical files n apps so. I had the screen shot bt dnt know how to send it here

Hi Jigme,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This may be related to software, I first suggest trying a software repair on the device to help resolve this type of issue.

Make sure to use PC Companion to backup the device.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps

let me know if this helps.

It didn't work at all 😞 first I was happy it was working fine now ya, but after it reached 70%, switched off again. It's a sad feeling ya, BT doesn't turn off when I charge it n do my work. N plus I asked around here in Bhutan, no Sony centre, they don't know how to change the battery too(thought that was the problem now) well, please do suggest something if possible. BT thanks for trying to help
