Hi there,

I am using a Z1 compact on the 3 network and if someone leaves a message on my answermachine (the 3 one, not the one built into the phone) then 3 sends me a text saying I have a message waiting, but no "traditional" answer machine icon appears in my status bar. Have hunter around in the settings but can't see any way of changnig the notifications to get this to work, so am wondering if it is possible afterall.

Any suggestions greatfully recieved.

That's probably a network issue, you should contact them.

Spoke with 3 and they said the phone doesn't support the feature, which seems a bit odd. Anyone else on 3 in the UK able to comment as to whether or not they get the answer phone symbol turn up OK on their status bar...
