in call speaker very soft

My in call speaker is extremely soft, can bearly hear the caller even if its quite around me. Is it a hardware problem? Or maybe settings? Really frustrated and on the brink of taking the phone back. Wasnt always like this though

Go to Settings > Call > Equalizer > Normal or change it to Bright.

See if there's any changes

And then untick "Microphone noise suppresion"

Test for both
